| Notes: | Label source: Flora of Guatemala. Department; Peten. About 7km east of the town of Santa Elena Close to the road running towards the Belize frontier at Ciudad Melchior on low hills a few km south of lago Peten Itza. Small tree to 10m ht with a compact, crown; dbh 45cm. Stem slightly fluted, bark light pinkish brown mottled grey with lichen. Foliage mid green slightly glossy above paler below. Flowers with a strong lemon fragrance, calyx deep maroon, petals pale lemon yellow, stamen filaments cream, a, nthers yellow, stigma bright yellow, ovary greenish. Unripe pods green strongly tinged pinkish red. Common scattered in secondary vegetation with Lysiloma, Alvaradoa and Calliandra. | ||||
