Alt. ± 550m.x0Dx0Ax0Dx0AHighly distrubed seasonally dry tropical forest. Acacia (?) picachensis ('biscuite') dominant.x0Dx0Ax0Dx0AMultilple-trunked treel, et to 3m; DBH of main trunk 8cm, branching contorted, crown open; bark thin, mid-grey, heavily lenticelled with roundish white, pustular lenticels; outer slash pea-green (slash odour with strong smell of fresh garden pea), wood hard, white. Foliage yellow, ish green, sometimes with a bluish tinge, lower leaves with larger, broader leaflets held open, upper leaves with narrower somewhat closed leaflets. Flowers without scent, calyx yellowish-greenish-orange, lateral petals sunshine yellow, 'standard' scarlet, with a yellowish margin, stamen filaments yellowish green at base, pinkish red at apex, anthers deep blood red on front face. All petals ultimately fading to orangish-red.
