| Notes: | Trees of Brazil. About 1km up track. Flat hill top, arboreal restinga on white sand. Tree 10m x 12cm bole ca 5m, oval; no buttresses. Bark grey-brown, fissuring vertically and flaking very easily. Slash pale rd brown, ca 5mm, wood yellowish buff, a ve, ry little red exudate. Old leaflets becoming bullate. Indumentum on undersurface of leaflets just visible with a lens. Old fruits 4.5-7cm long; 3.2-5cm high; 3.5-5.5cm wide. Voucher for cp DNA study. | ||||
