| Notes: | Trees of Brazil. Restinga arborea on white sand. Stand of Attalaea funifera. Tree 7-8m x 7cm. Bark brown, with patches of grey-brown, green brown and darker brown (lichens), fissuring vertically & flaking slightly. Slash pale brown, 3mm. Wood with c, oncentric rings of brown and buff with a dark ring at centre. Lflets shiny above with a slight waxy bloom. Young shoots, lflet undersurfaces with red-brown indumentum. Sterile voucher for cpDNA studies. | ||||
