Notes: | Label source: Letter 262,1918 : xii p.114 June 20th 1918, Messrs J de Levy & Sons, acknowledge the receipt of their letter of the 17th instant and in reply to say thet the sample of 'Sarghina' from Morocco, submitted for identification appears to be th, e root of C.littoralis (Syn, C.telephiifolia). On a similar specimen in the Museum at kew it is stated. - 'Exported from Tangier to Algiers, Tunis, Tripoli and Egypt, for use as incense and as a yellow dye'. |
