Notes: | Label source: Sender - Director of Agriculture, Hope, Kingston Chemical laboratory, Messrs Rowntree & Co York 29.9.1924. We have looked carefully into this sample and find that it is identical with the previous one but not at all like typical ariba. I am, sending you today three tins, one containing a sample of summer ariba cocoa, the second containing a sample of winter or epoca ariba and the third tin a sample drawn from your sample. You will notice that there are very great differences between the two, Ariba qualities and your sample not only in the size and shape of the beans but in the aroma. (signed) BG McLellan (Chemist) |
