| Notes: | Label source: On the mid east facing slopes of Cerro Verde about 4km east of the summit, close to the small village of Bella Vista. Medium sized tree to 12m ht with a heavily branched open crown. Bark smooth, grey becoming rough and broken into rectang, ular plates with age, inner bark yellow. Heavy crop of ripe pods shedding; pods orange brown, with a gnarled surface raised above the seed cavity, the surface splitting longitudonally. Foliage discolourous shiny mid green above, paler below. Infrequent, , scattered coffee shade tree with Leucaena diversifolia, Diphysa robinioides and cultivated Cupressus and Inga. | ||||
