| Notes: | Flora of El Salvador. Close to the Hacienda San Diego which lies about 3km south of the town of Metapan in low hills to the east of Lago de Guija. Small tree to 6m ht. dbh 35cm. Irregular branching and an open crown. Bark mid grey shedding in irregular sh, aggy flakes. Almost leafless, a few persistent leaves on branch tips. Heavy crop of ripe pods. Wood dense and hard with dark heartwood. Frequent, scattered in degraded dry deciduous forest with Enterolobium, Caclocarpum, Swietenia humilis and Alvaradoa am, orphoides. | ||||
