Notes: | Artisan: Reinaldo da Silva. This bag is woven by the Tikuna people of the Colombian Amazon with fibers obtained from unexpanded leaves of the chambira palm, Astrocaryum chambira. This palm, the most important source of fiber in western Amazonia, was inp, rocess of domestication by the time of the European conquest.
