Notes: | Bamboo strips steamed and bent to make the struts form a hat. The struts are fixed at the top by a metal spindle enabling them to be opened out like a fan. Printed cotton fabric has been stuck to the struts, which are graded in length to form a slightly d, eeper brim. There are strips of Velcro on both end struts so they can be fastened to form the hat.
