Notes: Label source: A pale coloured, strong, tough, elastic wood, grain often interlocked. The sapwood should be avoided as it is subject to borers. It is used for all classes of building construction, underframes for motor, coach and wagon bodies, spokes, sha, fts, poles, bent work, all classes of handles, meat skewers, etc. One of the most important hardwoods in New South Wales. It occurs as a large tree on the coast, extending into Queensland. H = Hard. W = 54 to 62 lb per cub. ft.
