Notes: | Label source: A large tree, found at high elevations on the southern tablelands of New South Wales and in Victoria and Tasmania. The timber is pale-coloured, free working, moderately hard, yet fissile. It is a splendid cabinet timber, being equal in many, respects to English and American Oak and Ash. At the present time furniture, joinery, flooring, oars, hoe and other handles and cask staves are being manufactured from it. H=Moderately hard. W=40-48 lb. per cub. ft. | ||||
