Notes: | Label source: A red coloured, hard, coarse textured timber, almost invarialby permeated with gum veins. In seasoning, often splits concentrically with these veins and is therefore rarely sawn. It is very durable in the ground and considered excellent for, poles, house blocks and fencing posts. Occurs as a medium to large tree in the coastal districts and ranges of New South Wales and Queensland. H = Hard. W = 58 to 65 lb per cubic foot. |
