Notes: | Label source: H=hard. W=56-66 lb. per cub.ft. A pink to reddish coloured, moderately close textured wood, which is often indistinguishable from Sydney Blue Gum (Eucalyptus saligna). The timber is regarded as durable and is used for general building and h, eavy constructional purposes, flooring, weatherboards, carriage and wheelwrights work, sleepers, decking, framing for punts and lighters, also suitable for heavy turnery. It grows to a large tree in favourable situations, reaching a height of 120 ft and 1, 0 ft in girth, occurs along the coast of Eastern New South Wales, south of the Manning River and Victoria. |
