Notes: | Label source: A pale coloured, straight grained timber, with slightly darker pinkish streaks through it and with no pronounced figure. It is used for brush and broom stocks, electric light blocks, wine and vats, chair making, lining boards and light han, dles, but the sapwood is very subject to attack by the Powder Post Borer. It is not durable exposed to weather. Grows to a large tree in the coast districts of New South Wales to Southern Queensland. H = moderately hard. W = 38-40 lb per cub ft. |
