Notes: Label source: A pinkish-brown, close textured wood, rather tough and leathery, occasionally with a hard flinty substance in small pockets. It requires careful seasoning to avoid warping, and surface checking. The sapwood is occasionally attacked by the P, owder Post Borer (Lyctus sp). It is suitable for general building purposes, cabinet work, interior joinery, motor-body work, staves, turnery, brush stocks, small handles, tee-squares, plywood etc. A large tree found in the brushes of Northern New South Wa, les and Queensland. H- Moderately soft. W= 35 -45 lb. per cub. ft.
