Alt. c. 400 m, Hypselodelphyus-Aframomum thicket, dominates.x0Dx0Ax0Dx0ATree c. 20-25 m tall, bearing fruits up trunk, outer slash pink-brown, inner very pale. White exudate. Bark light orange-brown, soft. Lenticels raised, same colour. Fruits c. 15 cm diam. Outer surface with yellow, hard round balls c. 9 mm in, diam. Seeds immature, in soft white pulp.
