Bark grey,, very shallowly vertically fissured. No lenticels. Foliage discolourous, glossy dark green above with a sunken reticulate tertiary venation, paler and dull below, rachises of foliage dull reddish. Flowers faintly scented. Sepals green tinged reddish.
