Notes: | Sold at Cookie's Crab Shop, Salthouse, north Norfolk. Harvested from salt marshes of north Norfolk coast.x0Dx0ACollecting takes place between min-June and mid-September. It is harvested by pulling entire plant with roots by hand (collected by Peter McNesbie)., Larger plants are selected, and those that have gone to flower or seed are not collected. As an estimate, about 10-15 kg/day samphire are collected by Peter.x0Dx0ASamphire is sold in the Crab Shop - served with seafood salads. It is also sold fresh for £1/ba, g (each bag holds about 0.5kg).
