Notes: | Accompanying notice reads: 'Cape 'Rooi' Bush. Of recent years, one of the most popular beverages in the form of 'Rooi' Bush or Red Bush has come into public favour. It is largely used by the Elite of the Rutal Districts, and is valued for its soothing eff, ect upon the system. Dyspeptics, and those troubled with nervous disorders, drink this charming beverage with impunity. It can be infused in the same way as ordinary tea, allowing one teaspoon for every cup desired. Allow the beverage to infuse for five m, inutes. Samples and all information obtained from the South African Exhibition, London, 1907.' Botanical name inferred from vernacular name and geography.
