Bark brown, vertically cracked and roughened; outer-bark detaching, deep red-brown on the back; under-bark orange-brown, paler (sometimes green) under the cracks; inner-bark paler and pinker, darkening to orange on, exposure, with red clear sap. Wood pinkish. Fruit yellow; aril orange, complete (fruit not open at time of collection) | ||||
