Notes: | Daubeney Herbarium (FHO), University of Oxford Lat 18deg.14'N Long 97deg.34'W 1890m Small compact branchy shrub, the branches tightly intertwined forming a round clump to 0.5m ht. Bark mid grey-brown with scattered pale brown lenticels, inner bark green, ish. Stems less than 1cm diameter with very dense heartwood. In full leaf with flowers, buds and old dehisced pod valves. Flower heads held erect above shoots, heteromorphic with some basal male flowers. Flowers sweetly scented tinged pinkish, the style e, xtendeing beyond the anthers which are dull yellow green. |
