| Notes: | Stool purchased by Nigel P Taylor from a picture shop in Chengdu, Sichuan Province PRC, on 10 March, 1998. The stool was not in fact on sale, but in use in the shop as a piece of working furniture. It cost 50 Yuan. Chengdu is a source of many bamboo go, ods and souvenirs, but this is not an item meant for tourists specifically, rather an everyday household stool. The town has a bamboo park, where many of the locally utilized taxa are planted. | ||||
