Notes: | Traditional nettle fibre woven belt 'jhola' strap headband handwoven by Rai women from the Sankhuwasabha mountains of Nepal. The strong fibres have been extracted by Rais for centuries by boiling and beating the bark of the allo plant, then spun and wove, n to make sacks, mats, bags, jhola straps and jackets.
