Notes: | Chopping board made from 9 woods - see multiples page - purchased from the Preswood factory at Ombe (Run by Presbyterian Church). Local children and young adults are taken on for 4 year apprenticeships. Factory produces furniture for local schools and c, hurches and also produces tourist items for visitors. Woods are obtained from local sources, and are sometimes purchased in small quantities from locals. One of wood unnamed - local name zebrano - striped wood. | ||||
