Notes: | One of a pair of wooden masks - male and female - purchased from Nji Fifen Adamou, a travelling salesman who visited Limbe Botanic Garden. (Cost 250 French francs for the two). Made at Foumban. Not simply made for tourists. This type of mask is part, of an ancient culture, and each mask is heavy with symbolism. |
