| Notes: | Eru - Gnetum - purchased on Limbe market. Sold whole, but usually preshredded on the stalls. This vegetable is incorporated into stews etc. During harvesting the entire plant is removed (including the swollen rootstock). Much of the eru harvested in C, ameroon is shipped to Nigeria. Populations have suffered a dramatic decrease in the last 5 years and the vine is now hard to locate around Mount Cameroon. | ||||
