Letter enclosed from Mr HG Jones, of 25 Cadogan Gardens, Finchley, N3 2HN (Tel 0181 346 5577) Dear Mr Field, Re satinwood boards, as one of the London Direc, tors of the old firm of Joseph Garbner (sic) & Sons, we imported over the years 'dye and fancy woods'. The log from which these boards were quarter sawn was at the old sawmill of A. Keen of Peckham. I think this log was one of a shipment we received abo, ut 1960. Sincerely HG Jones. |
