| Notes: | Label source: Big tree growing to over 100 feet in height. Wood about 65 lbs. per cubic ft. Brown colour at first, darkening later. At one time a favourite furniture wood used in old presses and tables. It is fine grained, hard and takes a high polish. A, part from furniture it is used in wheelwrights work especially for felloes. | ||||
