Notes: | Carved by the Indians into theshape of the Piraruccu fish, whose tongue they use as a file for grating the guarana, and various odoriferous roots, such as the Piperiocca. A portion of the tongue of the fish, such as is used to rasp the guarana, is placed, beside it.
