Notes: | Large liana, 15-20cm. Fruit only. Pulp of fruit and seeds is used to make a sherbert for feverish colds. Seed sliced and maccerated in alcohol, or burnt and powdered, and mixed with a resin and sulphur and applied to face for 'golpe de aire' (stroke). D, ecoction of burnt seed taken for stomach and liver complaints. High wood, on trees. Carolina, Dept. San Pedro, Alto Paraguay.
