| Notes: | Trees of Brazil. Top of hill, right side road. Open low cerrado. Small tree 3m x 9cm. Bole 1.5m, leaning. Branches ascending. Bark thick, rough with deep vertical fissures, scorched by fire, flaking quite easily. Bark pale brown in section, 5mm thi, ck; slash buff, 5mm, red exudate (copious from cut branches). Young twigs swollen with dense red brown indumentum. Leaflets with soft pale indumentum beneath. Voucher for cpDNA study. | ||||
