| Notes: | sp. nov. 2 = Andira cordifolia Arroyo (name never validly published). Trees of Brazil. Top of hill, right side of road. Open low cerrado. Tree 6m x 15cm. Bole ca 70cm. Branches ascending and then spreading. Bark very rough fissuring vertically and, horizontally, the vertical fissures deep, horizontal fissures shallow. Bark to 2-5mm thick in section, brown, slash 10-12mm, red brown. Wood cream streaked buff. Young fruit green, speckled yellow. Mesocarp 3mm, green, soft; endocarp woody, buff. Vou, cher for cpDNA study. | ||||
