| Notes: | New species collected by Harley, de Lima and Pennington near Xique-Xique. Trees of Brazil. Caatinga, river bank. A strange tangled mass of branches roots (photos) ca 2.5m. Bark quite rough, brown to greyish brown, fissuring vertically and horizontally, , flaking slightly. Bark buff in section; phloem red brown. Wood cream buff. Leaves to 16cm. Leaflets, rachiese, young twigs with spreading brown indumentum. Voucher for cpDNA study. | ||||
