| Notes: | Trees of Brazil. Roadside, sandy soil. Small 2 stemmed tree, 3m x 4cm x 7cm. Bark greyish brown, fissuring vertically and flaking slightly. Slash 4mm, buff. Wood cream streaked buff. Leaves to 10cm, thickly coriaceous. Leaflets with thick red brown, indumentum beneath. Fruit sweet smelling, green the surface smooth, slightly waxy and sticky. Mature fruits 3.5-4.0cm long; 2.7-3.2cm high; 2.6-3.2cm wide. Mesocarp 2mm, fibrous, lime green; endocarp 3-4mm, brown, woody. Seed cream. Voucher for cpDN, A study. | ||||
