| Notes: | Trees of Brazil. Rt side of road. Low restinga, by small stream. Small tree 2.5m x 5cm dia. Bole 15m cylindrical. Branches ascending. No buttresses. Bark grey brown, rough, fissuring vertically and with remains of persistent stipules. Bark buff in, section, slash 3-4mm, greenish buff, oxidising red brown. Clear exudate which oxidises red brown. Leaves to 35cm, the leaflets with red brown indumentum beneath. Stipules very persistent, to ca 3cm, green turning brown, with red brown indumentum on ext, erior. Voucher for cpDNA study. | ||||
