| Notes: | Trees of Brazil. Low lying open swampy restinga with small ponds on sandy soil. Leaning 2 stemmed tree, 3m x 10 & 16cm. Bark red brown to pale brown, fissuring vertically and scaling in quite large patches. Slash pale pinkish brown 5-6mm. Wood creamy, buff. Leaflets with pale indumentum beneath. Fruit 4.5-5.6cm long; 3.3-4cm high; 3.5-4.3cm wide; dark green marked with dark brown black; mesocarp 3-4mm; endocarp 3mm. Seed white. Voucher for cpDNA study. | ||||
