| Notes: | Trees of Brazil. Edge of cleared area in scrubby restinga on white sand. Shrub 2m. Bark bleached grey-brown, fissuring vertically, flaking slightly. Slash buff 1-2mm, then pale brown 1-2mm. Wood quite soft with concentric rings of brown and buff, dar, k ring at centre. Leaf uppersurface with slight glaucous bloom. Leaf under surfaces and young twigs with red brown indumentum just discernable with alens. Sterile voucher for cpDNA studies. | ||||
