| Notes: | Trees of Brazil. South facing slope near hilltop. Transition from scrubby to arboreal restinga. Small tree 4m x 7cm. Bole 1m, no buttresses. Bark bleached grey-brown fissuring vertically, flaking easily. Slash pale brown. Wood with concentric rings, of brown and buff, dark ring at centre. Leaf undersurfaces, young twigs with ferruigneous indumentum just discernable with a lens. Sterile voucher for cpDNA studies. Voucher for cp DNA study. | ||||
