Notes: | Label - Steep sandy slope facing sea. Low scrubby restinga. Frequent multistemmed shrub, 2m. Bark grey/grey-brown, flaking slightly. Slash and centre of heartwood producing red exudate. Wood hard with beautiful grain in concentric rings. Lower leaves to 4, 0cm long, older leaves with the margin inrolled. Many fruit on ground, only one on shrub; 8-10cm long x 7-8cm high x 7-9cm wide; outer pale brown with darker brown makings, rough; mesocarp hard, pale green 4-10mm thick; endocarp pale brown, woody.
