Notes: | Label source: Received from The Worshipful Company of Turners, Apothecaries Hall, Blackfriars Lane EC4. Catalogue of collection of woods made by a German and acquired by Charles Holtzappfel in the early part of the XIXth century. It is referred to in Vol, I of Turnery & Mechanical Manipulation published in 1843. The original specimens are labelled in German as well as with the botanical names. GL Hetherington. See note book with item for the list of woods contained therein.
