Notes: Label source: Camwood was the first dyewood imported from West Africa and was used to dye the famous Bandana hankerchiefs. The dye is obtained from the dark red heartwood. It was used in West Africa as a body paint and, when mixed with shea butter, as a, poultice for sprains and swollen joints.
