| Notes: | Note source: To test the effect of piercing on the colour of the seeds, the seeds being pierced as for stringing onto a necklace. The seeds were at least 2 or 3 years old and probably more; 21 entire seeds and 21 pierced seeds were used, both seeds of s, ame hue. (Full table of weights enclosed). Note; since according to the data supplied by seeds in another packet the seeds kept the same weight for four years from collection and then began to vary it is likely that these seeds had already reached this, limit when the experiment began. | ||||
