Notes: | Opuscular source: Note from HB Guppy, Salcombe Devon. dated 14 Nov 1906. Seed of Entada picked up in 1897 on the beach near Vimereux by Miss M Moseley daughter of the late Prof HN Moseley of Oxford, - it floats buoyantly and has the peculiar surface ap, pearance of Entada seeds that have been long in sea water. I have carefully examined the beach drift of many Devonshire beaches both in the north and south coasts but have never come upon tropical seed drift. |
