I much regret that we cannot carry the matter any further and can only advise you to obtain flowers a, nd leaves of the plant when it should be possible to identify it with certainty (signed) AW Hill. Rec'd. from Prof Jumelle 15.ii.26 in reply to Directors letter of the 10th Feb 1926. There is little doubt that this fruit is the same as No 2 sent with lett, er of the 22nd Sept 1924 JHH 15.ii.26 Probably E.calcaratum Warm. See figure in Arch Gard Bot Rio iv.107, T.13, a,b.
