Dear Sir, I thank you for the info you have given on the Xanthophyllum. I think these are X lanceolatum Boerl. A publication, has appeared in De Indische Mercuur, May 9, 1911, and the statement was added by K Gorter that large quantitites are being imported, which are coming into the market under the name of Boca Sioer. I would think, judging from commercial consideration, tha, t these seeds are X lanceolatum. The fat from the seeds is like the fat given by Gorter. | ||||
