Notes: | Label source: Value 14 pounds sterling per ton. Label source: Known in Trinidad as 'Maholtine'. Grows anywhere, gives a fibre sometimes over 10 feet long. Good colour and moderate strength but the filaments are much interlaced which would lead to often, being greatly broken in preparing ? for spinning.
