This would find quite a ready market and especially if its strength was not so much affected. Today`s value 20 to2, 2 pounds per ton. Staple long and strong but the bark has thorns, which interfere with the manipulation of the clean fibre. It may yield nearly a ton per cutting per acre and can be cut twice a year.
