Notes: | Label source: Leaf specimen and one fruit to Herb. No 1. The Jangada; the bark of which takes the place of string in the matto; has no other use. Firewood is used in the production of charcoal (Extract from letter, G Chalmers, Fazenda de Jaguara (Braz, il) dated Oct 19th, 1925 to Lady Harris, 98 Gloucester Terrace, Hyde Park, London). Specimen of wood in the museum, presented by Lady Harris Verified in Herb 11.i.1926. |
