Notes: | Label source: The whole plant is commonly kept in the shops it is suffrutescent, much branched with opposite two stipuled leaves; the stipules are often thorny, leaflets linear cuspidate ; the wood of the stem is white and very hard, covered by a ragged, light brown bark, which becomes slimy and mucilaginous when moistened. Dumaso has no particular taste; it is used to prepare a cooling wash for the mouth. |
